1. Agreement to these terms

By using an Iddo Books website, creating an account, or placing an order directly through our store, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to policies incorporated into them, including our Privacy Policy and Refunds & Returns Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not place an order through the website.

2. Iddo Books and the online store

Iddo Books presents and sells books and related products through its websites. Products may include ebooks, browser-based digital editions, signed or personalised editions, physical books and other book-related offerings.

Some editions may be sold by an independent retailer such as Amazon. Where you complete an order on another retailer's website, that retailer's applicable terms govern that transaction.

3. Customer accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login credentials confidential. Account features may include order history, account details and access to eligible purchases. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse or security risks.

4. Orders

Submitting an order is a request to purchase the selected product, edition, licence and quantity. Payment must be confirmed through the applicable payment process.

We may decline or cancel an order where payment is not confirmed, product or pricing information contains a material error, an item is unavailable, an order appears fraudulent, or fulfilment would violate applicable law. If we cancel a successfully paid order that has not been supplied, an appropriate refund will be arranged where required.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website. For variable products, a displayed range may reflect different licence options. The price for your selected option is shown before the order is submitted.

Payments may be processed through Paystack or another method offered at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own exchange rates, fees or processing rules.

6. Digital products and fulfilment

Digital products may be delivered by email, through an account, through browser-based access, or by another method stated on the product page. Some digital files may be personalised or watermarked to the purchaser or authorised user.

Digital delivery does not transfer copyright ownership. Purchasing a digital book gives you the right to use the purchased copy according to its licence.

You are responsible for providing a working email address and compatible device, software or internet access where required.

7. Personal and Team licences

Where a product offers Personal and Team options, the licence selected at checkout determines the permitted scope of use.

Personal licence

Intended for the individual purchaser or authorised individual recipient. It does not permit redistribution of the digital file or access credentials to a group, organisation, public audience or unrelated third parties.

Team licence

Intended for legitimate shared use within the team, group or organisation for which it was purchased, subject to the scope represented on the product page or order. It does not permit unrestricted resale, public uploading or onward distribution outside the authorised group.

For use beyond the licence offered, contact sales@iddobooks.com.

8. Physical, signed and personalised products

Where we directly sell physical products, delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Customers must provide accurate delivery information.

Signed, autographed, inscribed or personalised products may be prepared specifically for an order. Once personalisation has begun, cancellation or change-of-mind return rights may be limited, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Refunds and returns

Refunds, returns, duplicate payments, digital-delivery problems and damaged physical products are handled under our Refunds & Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights applicable to a transaction.

10. Copyright and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, books, text, cover artwork, graphics, branding and website materials are protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to their respective rights holders.

You may not reproduce, upload, resell, distribute, remove watermarks or rights-management information from, or otherwise exploit protected content beyond the rights granted by your purchase or applicable law.

11. Acceptable use

You must not intentionally misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, circumvent purchase or access controls, distribute malicious code, or materially disrupt the service.

12. Website and product availability

We aim to keep the website and purchased services available, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, technical faults, hosting problems, third-party outages and events outside reasonable control may temporarily affect access.

13. Third-party services and links

The website may rely on or link to independent payment providers, hosting infrastructure, email services and external retailers. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Responsibility and limitations

We are responsible for providing products and services in accordance with the terms applicable to the purchase and mandatory legal obligations. To the extent permitted by law, Iddo Books is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, incompatible customer equipment, incorrect information supplied by a customer, or misuse contrary to a product licence.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies where doing so would be unlawful.

15. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to our products, website, technology, business practices or legal obligations. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date where appropriate.

16. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are interpreted subject to laws that validly apply to the relevant transaction. Nothing here prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory protections or dispute-resolution rights available under applicable law.

If a problem arises, contact us first so we can review the order and attempt to resolve it directly.
