1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to eligible purchases made directly through an Iddo Books website. Different rules may apply depending on whether you purchase a digital edition, a physical book, or an item supplied through an external retailer.

If you bought an Iddo Books title from another seller, marketplace or retailer, the purchase is generally governed by that seller's returns and refund process.

2. Digital books and digital products

Because ebooks, flipbooks and other digital products can be accessed, delivered or prepared for a customer shortly after payment, a change of mind does not automatically qualify a completed digital purchase for a refund once fulfilment or access has begun.

This includes a customer deciding after purchase that they prefer another edition, format or licence, unless Iddo Books agrees otherwise or applicable law requires a refund.

A refund may still be considered where the product was not supplied as described, a verified technical problem prevents access and cannot reasonably be corrected, or another issue makes a refund appropriate under applicable law.

3. Problems with digital delivery

If you have paid successfully but have not received or cannot access your digital purchase, contact us before purchasing the same item again. We will first try to verify the order and correct the delivery or access problem.

When contacting us, provide the name and email address used for the order and your order number or payment reference where available. Do not send complete payment-card details by email.

If we confirm that a digital product cannot reasonably be delivered or made accessible, we may offer replacement access, another appropriate remedy, or a refund where applicable.

4. Duplicate orders or payments

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same intended purchase, email sales@iddobooks.com promptly. We will review the relevant order and transaction records.

Where an unintended duplicate payment is verified, the duplicate transaction may be refunded to the appropriate payment method, subject to payment-provider processing.

5. Physical books purchased directly from us

Where Iddo Books sells and fulfils a physical book directly, please inspect it after delivery. If the item arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what you ordered, contact us promptly and include your order details and reasonable evidence of the problem.

Do not return a physical item without contacting us first. If a return is approved, we will provide the applicable return instructions. Returned items should be kept in the condition in which they were received except where handling was reasonably necessary to identify a defect.

Whether return shipping is paid by Iddo Books or the customer will depend on the reason for the return, the circumstances of the order and applicable consumer law.

6. Signed, autographed or personalised products

Products made, signed, inscribed or otherwise personalised specifically for a customer may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return once personalisation has begun or the personalised product has been supplied.

This does not remove any rights you may have if the item is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise subject to a remedy under applicable law.

7. Purchases from Amazon or another external retailer

Some Iddo Books titles or editions may be offered through Amazon or another third-party retailer. If your payment and order were completed on that retailer's website, requests for cancellation, return, replacement or refund should normally be made directly through that retailer under its applicable policies.

Iddo Books cannot directly reverse a payment collected by an independent retailer on the retailer's own checkout system.

8. How to request a refund or return

For a purchase made directly through Iddo Books, email sales@iddobooks.com. Include enough information for us to identify and assess the transaction:

• Your name.
• The email address used for the purchase.
• Your order number or payment reference, if available.
• The title and edition purchased.
• A short explanation of the problem.
• For a damaged physical item, clear photographs showing the relevant issue where reasonably possible.

Please do not email passwords, complete card numbers, PINs or other sensitive payment credentials.

9. Approved refunds

If a refund is approved, we will initiate it through the appropriate payment route where reasonably possible. The time required for the funds to appear can depend on the payment provider, bank, card network or other financial institution involved.

Refunding a digital purchase may also result in the cancellation of access or the associated licence to use the refunded digital product.

10. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under legislation applicable to your purchase.

If a mandatory consumer-protection rule gives you a right that is more favourable than a provision of this policy, the mandatory legal right applies.
